Hi, I'm HoangAKA Aetheros, and I travel a lot for work.
Most of my trips are for work. In between there are weekend hikes that end at a lake or halfway up a mountain. The photos on this page are a few of those days, and you'll notice the backpack never comes off.
Why I built Packr It!
When you travel this much, you end up packing all the time. Most of the time it's Sunday night and I'm wondering whether my charger is still plugged into the wall of the last hotel room.
I got tired of rewriting the same list from scratch, so I built Packr It! in the evenings, often the night before a flight. I made it for myself first, and then it felt silly to keep it to myself.
What it is
A travel packing list that is simple, free, and gets out of your way. You say roughly what kind of trip you are taking, it shows you what is worth bringing, and you tick things off as they go in the bag.
Lists that fit the trip
Set how you are travelling, where you are staying and what you will be doing, and the list adjusts itself. No packing a swimsuit for a conference.
Your own lists too
The ready-made lists are a starting point. Make your own for the trips you take over and over, and they are yours to change.
Pack together
Share a list with whoever you are travelling with. You see the same ticks, so nobody packs the toothpaste twice.
Works on the move
It keeps working with a bad connection or none at all, because that is exactly when you are standing over a suitcase.
It's free, and it stays free.
There are no ads in Packr It! and I don't sell your data to anyone. It's my side project, and I keep it running because I use it myself.
